Using the Task Board
This guide explains how to use the Kanban-style task board in OneClickWorker to visualize and manage your tasks.
Accessing the Task Board
- Log in to your OneClickWorker account at https://app.oneclickworker.com/
- Navigate to the Tasks section from the main navigation menu
- If you're not already in the board view, click the columns icon in the top right corner to switch to the Kanban board view
Understanding the Task Board
The task board is organized into three columns representing the different stages of a task's lifecycle:
- To-do: Tasks that have not yet been started
- In Progress: Tasks that are currently being worked on
- Done: Tasks that have been completed
Each column displays:
- The column name
- The number of tasks in that column (in parentheses)
- A "+" button to quickly add a new task to that column
- Task cards for all tasks in that status
Task Cards
Each task is represented by a card that displays key information at a glance:
- Task Title: The name of the task
- Priority Badge: Color-coded badge showing High (red), Medium (yellow), or Low (blue) priority
- Client: The associated client (if any)
- Job: The associated job (if any)
- Tags: Any tags associated with the task
- Comments Count: Number of comments on the task (if any)
- Attachments Count: Number of files attached to the task (if any)
- People: Avatars of people associated with the task

- Drag it to the desired column (To-do, In Progress, or Done)
- Release to drop the task in the new column
- The task's status will be automatically updated in the system
This drag-and-drop functionality provides a visual way to update task status without having to open and edit the task details.

To view or edit the full details of a task:

- The task details form will open
- View or edit any information

Filtering and Sorting Tasks
The current task board does not provide direct filtering or sorting capabilities. Tasks are displayed in their respective columns based on status.
Task Board Best Practices
- Regular Updates: Move tasks between columns as their status changes to keep the board current
- Balance Workload: Keep an eye on the number of tasks in each column, especially "In Progress"
- Prioritize Visually: Use the priority levels to help team members identify what to work on next
- Clear Completed Tasks: Regularly review the "Done" column and archive completed tasks if necessary
- Team Collaboration: Encourage all team members to keep the board updated with their progress
