Email Configuration
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for configuring your email settings in OneClickWorker.
Understanding Email Configuration
OneClickWorker provides you with a custom email address that can be used for communications within the platform. You can configure the display name portion of this email address to personalize your communications.
Accessing Email Settings
- Log in to OneClickWorker with your credentials
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen
- Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu
- Scroll down to the "Email Settings" section at the bottom of the page
Configuring Your Email Display Name
Your email display name determines how your name appears in the "From" field of emails sent from the system. To configure your email display name:
- Navigate to the Profile page
- Scroll down to the "Email Settings" section
- Locate the "Email Display Name" field
- Enter your preferred display name (e.g., "john.smith")
- Click the "Save Settings" button to apply your changes
Email Address Format
When you set your display name, your email address will be formatted as:
[display_name]@mail.oneclickworker.com
For example, if you enter "john.smith" as your display name, your email address will be:
john.smith@mail.oneclickworker.com
This email address will be used when you send communications through the OneClickWorker platform.
Best Practices for Email Display Names
When choosing your email display name, consider the following best practices:
- Use a professional format: First name, last name (e.g., john.smith, j.smith)
- Be consistent: Use the same format across all platforms for brand consistency
- Keep it simple: Avoid complex or hard-to-spell names
- Avoid special characters: Stick to letters, numbers, periods, and underscores
- Consider recognition: Use a name that recipients will recognize
Verifying Your Email Settings
After saving your email settings, you can verify that they have been applied correctly:
- The success message "Email settings updated successfully" will appear briefly
- Your new display name will be shown in the "Email Display Name" field
- All future emails sent from the system will use your new display name
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
Settings Not Saving
If you're having trouble saving your email settings:
- Make sure you're connected to the internet
- Refresh the page and try again
- Ensure your display name doesn't contain invalid characters
- Check that you've clicked the "Save Settings" button
Display Name Already in Use
If the display name you've chosen is already in use by another user, you may need to choose a different display name. Try adding a number or using a different format.
Email Not Being Received
If recipients report not receiving your emails:
- Check that your email display name is configured correctly
- Verify that the recipient's email address is correct
- Ask recipients to check their spam or junk folders
- Contact support if the issue persists

Email settings are separate from notification preferences:
- Email Settings: Configure how your name appears in outgoing emails
