Notification Preferences

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for managing your notification preferences in OneClickWorker.

Understanding Notifications

OneClickWorker sends various types of notifications to keep you informed about important events and activities related to your account. These notifications can be delivered through:

  • Email notifications
  • In-app notifications
  • Browser notifications (if enabled)

Accessing Notification Preferences

  1. Log in to OneClickWorker with your credentials
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen
  3. Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu
  4. Locate the "Notifications" section
  5. Click the "Manage Notifications" button

Configuring Notification Preferences

The Notification Preferences page allows you to customize which notifications you receive and how they are delivered.

Email Notifications

Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your account. To configure email notifications:

  1. Navigate to the Notification Preferences page
  2. Locate the "Email Notifications" section
  3. Toggle the switches for each notification type:
    • Job Alerts: Notifications about new job postings that match your profile
    • Application Updates: Updates on your job applications
    • Interview Invitations: Notifications about interview requests
    • Message Notifications: Alerts about new messages
    • System Announcements: Important updates about the OneClickWorker platform
  4. Click "Save Changes" to apply your preferences

In-App Notifications

In-app notifications appear within the OneClickWorker platform when you're logged in. To configure in-app notifications:

  1. Navigate to the Notification Preferences page
  2. Locate the "In-App Notifications" section
  3. Toggle the switches for each notification type
  4. Click "Save Changes" to apply your preferences

Browser Notifications

Browser notifications appear on your desktop even when you're not actively using OneClickWorker. To enable browser notifications:

  1. Navigate to the Notification Preferences page
  2. Locate the "Browser Notifications" section
  3. Click "Enable Browser Notifications"
  4. Your browser will prompt you to allow notifications from OneClickWorker
  5. Click "Allow" in the browser prompt
  6. Toggle the switches for each notification type
  7. Click "Save Changes" to apply your preferences

Note: Browser notification settings are stored in your browser. If you use multiple browsers or devices, you'll need to enable browser notifications for each one separately.

Role-Specific Notifications

Different roles in OneClickWorker receive different types of notifications:

For Candidates

  • New job matches
  • Application status updates
  • Interview invitations
  • Messages from employers or recruiters
  • Subscription and account updates

For Employers and Recruiters

  • New applications
  • Candidate responses
  • Interview confirmations
  • Messages from candidates
  • Team member activities
  • Subscription and account updates

Troubleshooting Notifications

If you're not receiving notifications as expected:

Email Notifications

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Add support@oneclickworker.com to your contacts
  • Verify your email address is correct in your profile settings

Browser Notifications

  • Check your browser's notification settings
  • Ensure OneClickWorker has permission to send notifications
  • Make sure your device's "Do Not Disturb" mode is off
