Overview
Custom psychometrics tests help you assess the suitability of team members for new roles, projects, or teams. You can create tests manually or use AI assistance, assign them to individuals, and track completions and results.
Accessing Surveys & Tests
- Log in to your OneClickWorker account at https://app.oneclickworker.com/.
- In the main navigation menu, click HRO Admin.
- Click on Surveys & Tests.
- The dashboard displays statistics for your surveys and tests and provides quick links for common actions.
Creating a Custom Psychometrics Test Manually
- On the Surveys & Tests dashboard, click Create Template.
- Enter a Template Name (e.g., "Leadership Qualities Assessment").
- Add sections to your template:
- Click Add Section.
- Enter a Section Title and Description.
- Repeat for additional sections as needed.
- Add items (questions) to each section:
- Click Create Item within a section.
- Choose the question type (multiple-choice, text input, rating, etc.).
- Enter the question text and any required options or settings.
- Repeat for all questions in the test.
- When finished, your template will appear in the Templates section.
Assigning a Test to Team Members
- Click Assignments in the Surveys & Tests section.
- Select the template you want to assign.
- Optionally, add a Due Date.
- Select the team member(s) you wish to assign the test to.
- Click Create Assignments.
- The assigned test will appear in the team member's dashboard.
Completing an Assigned Test (Team Member View)
- Team members log in and navigate to HRO > Surveys & Tests in the main menu.
- Assigned tests appear in their dashboard.
- Click on a test to begin and complete all questions.
- Submit the test when finished. Results are available to administrators.
Creating a Test with AI Assistance
- Click Create Template in the Surveys & Tests dashboard.
- Enter a Template Name and Description.
- Click AI Assisted Creation.
- Enter information about the objective of the test.
- Optionally, select from available competencies, a target role, and add additional context.
- The more specific your input, the more tailored the generated test will be.
- Enter the desired number of questions.
- Click Generate Questions.
- Review the generated questions (AI-assisted tests currently support multiple-choice questions only).
- When satisfied, click Create Test.
- The test will be added to your templates and can be assigned as described above.
Best Practices
- Use detailed, specific objectives for AI-assisted test creation to get the most relevant questions.
- Organize your templates by role, competency, or department for easier management.
- Use the manual method for more question type flexibility.
- Regularly review assigned and completed tests to track team development.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |

Cannot create or assign tests | Ensure your plan includes psychometrics features. |
Team member cannot see assigned test | Confirm the assignment and that the user has access. |
AI-generated test only has multiple choice | This is a current limitation of AI-assisted creation. Use manual creation for other types. |
Lost progress while creating a template | Save your template frequently and complete sections step by step. |
