What is HRO?
Human Resource Optimization (HRO) is a strategy for building an elite workforce that achieves organizational goals while supporting the personal development and well-being of every employee. OCW uses the R.O.D.E. framework (Recruitment, Onboarding, Development, Environment) to help organizations develop and implement their HRO strategy.
The HRO framework is designed to positively impact the most important organizational metrics, summarized as RECE: Revenue, Expenses, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction.
Accessing the HRO Strategy Tool
- Log in to your OneClickWorker account at https://app.oneclickworker.com/.
- In the main navigation menu, click HRO Admin.
- Click on HRO Strategy.
- You will see a brief slide presentation explaining HRO and its importance.
Creating a New HRO Strategy
- Click Create HRO Strategy to start the process.
- The strategy builder is a multi-step questionnaire, designed around the R.O.D.E. framework:
- Introduction
- Background & Context
- Recruitment (R)
- Onboarding (O)
- Development (D)
- Environment (E)
- Strategic Priorities
- Review
- Fill out each section with information relevant to your organization, department, or team.
- Example: For a nursing department in a hospital, enter details specific to that context.
- You can save your progress at any time and return later; you do not need to complete the questionnaire in one sitting.
- Use the Next and Previous buttons to navigate between steps.
- When finished, click Submit Strategy.
Saving and Editing Progress
- Click Save Progress at any step to save your current answers.
- You can return later to complete or update your strategy.
- To edit an existing strategy, select it from the list and make your changes. Submitting updates will generate new reports.
Generated Reports
After submitting your HRO strategy, the AI will analyze your responses and generate the following reports:
- Executive Summary: High-level overview of your HRO strategy.
- R.O.D.E. Impact Analysis: Assessment of your strategy by each R.O.D.E. component.
- R.E.C.E. Impact Analysis: Evaluation of how your strategy will affect Revenue, Expenses, Customer Satisfaction, and Employee Satisfaction.
- Recommended Strategy & Prioritized Actions: Actionable steps tailored to your organization.
- Platform Implementation Guide: Instructions on how to use OCW features to implement your HRO strategy.
Managing Multiple Strategies
- You can create multiple HRO strategies for different departments, teams, or business units.
- Each strategy is independent and can be edited or updated as needed.
- Use the strategy list to view, edit, or generate new reports for any existing strategy.
Best Practices
- Be as detailed and honest as possible in your responses for the most accurate AI analysis.
- Use the save feature to avoid losing progress.
- Regularly review and update your strategy as circumstances change.
- Leverage the recommended actions and platform features to implement your strategy.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |

Cannot access HRO Strategy | Ensure you have administrator privileges. |
Progress not saved | Use the Save Progress button before leaving the page. |
Reports not generated | Make sure all sections of the questionnaire are completed, then resubmit. |
