Creating Onboarding Templates

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating onboarding templates in the OneClickWorker platform.

Accessing the Onboarding Templates Page

  1. Log in to your OneClickWorker account with administrator privileges
  2. Navigate to the Admin section
  3. Click on "Onboarding" in the admin navigation menu
  4. You will see a list of all existing onboarding templates

Creating a New Template

To create a new onboarding template:

  1. Click the "Create Template" button in the top-right corner of the Onboarding Templates page
  2. Fill in the following fields:
    • Template Title: Enter a descriptive name for your template (required)
    • Description: Provide a brief description of the template's purpose (optional)
    • Active: Toggle this switch to set whether the template is active and available for assignment
  3. Click the "Create Template" button to save your new template

Managing Templates

After creating a template, you can:

  1. Edit Template Details: Update the title, description, or active status
  2. Delete Template: Remove the template from the system (this will also delete all sections and items)
  3. View Assignments: See which users have been assigned this template

Template Best Practices

When creating onboarding templates:

  1. Use Clear Titles: Make the template title descriptive and specific
  2. Provide Context: Include a helpful description that explains the purpose of the template
  3. Start Simple: Create a basic template structure first, then add sections and items
  4. Consider Audience: Design templates with your target users in mind
  5. Review Regularly: Update templates as your onboarding processes evolve

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues when creating templates:

  • Template Not Saving: Ensure the template title is not empty
  • Template Not Appearing: Check that you have the necessary administrator permissions
  • Cannot Delete Template: Templates that are currently assigned to users cannot be deleted
