Using the Email Inbox

This guide explains how to navigate and use the email inbox in the OneClickWorker platform to view, read, and manage your emails.

Note: Email functionality requires a Plus plan subscription.

Accessing the Email Inbox

  1. Log in to your OneClickWorker account at https://app.oneclickworker.com/
  2. Navigate to the Inbox section from the main navigation menu or by going to /inbox

Understanding the Inbox Interface

The inbox interface consists of several key components:

  1. Inbox Header: Contains the title "Inbox" and action buttons
  2. Email List: Displays all your emails in chronological order
  3. Action Buttons: "Refresh" and "Compose" buttons for managing emails. If the refresh doesn't work, try refreshing the page.
  4. Email Cards: Individual cards for each email in your inbox

Viewing Your Emails

The inbox displays all your emails, both sent and received, in a unified view:

Email Card Information

Each email in the list is displayed as a card containing:

  • Subject Line: The subject of the email
  • Sender/Recipient: For received emails, shows the sender's email address; for sent emails, shows "To:" followed by the recipient's email address
  • Timestamp: The date and time when the email was sent or received
  • Direction Indicator: Shows whether the email was "Received" or "Sent"

Reading Email Content

To read the full content of an email:

  1. Click on any email card in the list
  2. The email will expand to show the full message content
  3. Click the email again to collapse it

Refreshing Your Inbox

To check for new emails or refresh your inbox:

  1. Click the "Refresh" button in the top right corner of the inbox
  2. The system will check for new emails and update your inbox
  3. During refreshing, the button will show "Refreshing..." with a spinning icon

Loading More Emails

If you have many emails, the inbox will initially display a limited number. To view more:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the email list
  2. If there are more emails available, you'll see a "Load More" button
  3. Click this button to load the next set of emails

Filtering Emails by Contact

You can filter your inbox to show only emails to/from a specific contact:

  1. Access the inbox with a contact email parameter in the URL:
    • Example: /inbox?contact_email=contact@example.com
  2. The inbox will display only emails exchanged with that specific contact
  3. To return to the full inbox, remove the contact email parameter from the URL

Email Status Indicators

The inbox provides visual indicators to help you understand your emails:

  • Direction: Each email is labeled as either "Sent" or "Received"
  • Timestamp: Shows when the email was sent or received
  • Expandable Content: Indicates that you can click to view the full message

Best Practices for Managing Your Inbox

  • Regular Checks: Check your inbox regularly for new messages
  • Use Refresh: Click the "Refresh" button to ensure you have the latest emails
  • Organize by Contact: Use the contact filtering feature when focusing on communications with a specific person
  • Read Full Messages: Always expand important emails to read the complete content
