Taking the IPIP-20 Test

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for completing the IPIP-20 personality assessment in the OneClickWorker platform.

Accessing the Test

1. Log in to your OneClickWorker account at https://app.oneclickworker.com/
2. Navigate to the Psychometrics section from the main navigation menu
3. On the Psychometrics page, click on the "Take IPIP-20 Test" card

Test Format

The IPIP-20 test consists of 20 statements about yourself that you'll rate on a scale from 1 to 5. Here's what you need to know about the test format:

• Number of questions: 20 statements
• Time required: Approximately 5-10 minutes
• Response format: Rating scale from 1 (Very Inaccurate) to 5 (Very Accurate)
• Completion requirement: All 20 questions must be answered to submit the test

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare for the Test

Before starting the test, make sure you:

• Are in a quiet environment with minimal distractions
• Have 5-10 minutes of uninterrupted time
• Are in a neutral mood (not extremely happy, sad, or stressed)

2. Start the Test

After clicking on "Take IPIP-20 Test" from the Psychometrics page, you'll see the test introduction and the first question.

3. Answer Each Question

For each statement presented:

1. Read the statement carefully
2. Consider how accurately it describes you
3. Click on a number from 1 to 5, where:
   • 1 = Very Inaccurate (This statement does not describe you at all)
   • 2 = Somewhat Inaccurate
   • 3 = Neither Accurate nor Inaccurate
   • 4 = Somewhat Accurate
   • 5 = Very Accurate (This statement describes you perfectly)

The selected rating will be highlighted in blue.

4. Navigate Through All Questions

• All 20 questions are presented on a single page
• Scroll down to view and answer all questions
• You can change your answers at any time before submitting

5. Submit Your Answers

Once you've answered all 20 questions:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the page
2. Click the "Submit Answers" button
3. Wait for the system to process your responses (this typically takes a few seconds)

If you haven't answered all questions, you'll see an alert message asking you to complete all items before submitting.

6. View Your Results

After successful submission, you'll be automatically redirected to the results page where you can see your personality profile. See Viewing Your Test Results for more information.

Tips for Accurate Results

For the most accurate results:

• Be honest: Answer based on how you really are, not how you wish to be
• Go with your first instinct: Don't overthink your responses
• Consider your typical behavior: Think about how you usually act, not how you might act in specific situations
• Answer independently: Don't let others influence your responses

Retaking the Test

You can retake the IPIP-20 test at any time by:

1. Navigating to the Psychometrics section
2. Clicking on "Take IPIP-20 Test"
3. Completing the test again

Note that your most recent test results will replace any previous results in the system.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while taking the test:

• Page doesn't load: Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in
• Can't select an answer: Try using a different browser or device
• Submit button doesn't work: Ensure you've answered all 20 questions
• Error after submission: Note any error message and try submitting again
