Navigating the Task List
This guide explains how to use the list view in OneClickWorker to find and interact with your tasks.
Accessing the Task List
- Log in to your OneClickWorker account at https://app.oneclickworker.com/
- Navigate to the Tasks section from the main navigation menu
- Click the list icon in the top right corner to switch to the list view (if you're currently in the board view)
Understanding the Task List
The task list displays all your tasks in a table format with the following columns:
- Title: The name of the task
- Client: The client associated with the task (if any)
- Job: The job associated with the task (if any)
- Priority: The importance level of the task (High, Medium, Low)
- Deadline: The due date for the task
- Tags: Any tags associated with the task
- People: The person assigned to the task
- Assigned: The assignment status of the task
Each row in the table represents a single task, and clicking on any row will open the task details for viewing or editing.
Finding Tasks in the List
The task list provides a comprehensive view of all tasks in the system. To find specific tasks:
- Scan through the list to locate tasks by title, client, job, or other visible attributes
- Look for color-coded priority indicators to identify high-priority tasks
Note: The current implementation does not include sorting or filtering capabilities in the list view.
Viewing Task Details
To view detailed information about a task:
- Find the task in the list
- Click anywhere on the task's row
- The task details form will open, allowing you to view and edit all information
Adding a New Task
To add a new task from the list view:
- Click the "Add Task" button in the top right corner of the page
- Fill out the task form with all necessary information
- Click "Save Task" to create the task
Switching Between List and Board Views
You can easily switch between the list and board views:
- Click the list icon in the top right corner to switch to the list view
- Click the columns icon in the top right corner to switch to the board view
Choose the view that works best for your current needs:
- Use the list view when you want to see all tasks in a compact format
- Use the board view when you want to visualize task status and workflow
Task Information Displayed
The task list provides a quick overview of essential task information:
- Title: The name of the task
- Client: The client associated with the task
- Job: The job associated with the task
- Priority: Displayed with color coding (High: red, Medium: yellow, Low: blue)
- Deadline: The due date for task completion
- Tags: Keywords associated with the task
- People: The person assigned to the task
- Assigned: The assignment status
Best Practices for Using the Task List
- Regular Review: Periodically review the task list to ensure no tasks are overlooked
- Prioritize Tasks: Pay attention to the priority column to identify the most important tasks
- Check Deadlines: Monitor upcoming deadlines to ensure tasks are completed on time
- Update Task Status: Open tasks to update their status as work progresses
