Overview
The platform uses default email templates for all notifications. Customizing these templates is optional but allows for personalized communication.
Accessing Email Templates
- Navigate to the admin section in the main menu
- Select "Org" or "Organization"
- Click on "Email Templates"
Using the Email Template Editor
Viewing Templates
- All available templates are listed in the dropdown menu
- Select a template to view its default content
- The preview section at the bottom shows how the email will appear
Editing a Template
- Select the desired template from the dropdown
- Make your changes in the editor
- Use the preview section to check your changes
- Click "Save Template" to store your custom version
Resetting to Default
- To revert to the original template, click "Reset to Default"
- A confirmation dialog will appear before resetting
Best Practices
Using Placeholders
- Always use placeholders for dynamic content
- Example: Use
{candidateName}
instead of hardcoded names - Available placeholders are listed at the bottom of each template
Template Management
- Each template maintains its own custom version
- Changes only affect the selected template
- You can customize multiple templates independently
Tips
- Test important templates before use
- Keep a backup of any custom content
- Remember to save your changes before navigating away
