Quickstart Guide

Overview

The platform uses default email templates for all notifications. Customizing these templates is optional but allows for personalized communication.

Accessing Email Templates

  1. Navigate to the admin section in the main menu
  2. Select "Org" or "Organization"
  3. Click on "Email Templates"

Using the Email Template Editor

Viewing Templates

  • All available templates are listed in the dropdown menu
  • Select a template to view its default content
  • The preview section at the bottom shows how the email will appear

Editing a Template

  1. Select the desired template from the dropdown
  2. Make your changes in the editor
  3. Use the preview section to check your changes
  4. Click "Save Template" to store your custom version

Resetting to Default

  • To revert to the original template, click "Reset to Default"
  • A confirmation dialog will appear before resetting

Best Practices

Using Placeholders

  • Always use placeholders for dynamic content
  • Example: Use {candidateName} instead of hardcoded names
  • Available placeholders are listed at the bottom of each template

Template Management

  • Each template maintains its own custom version
  • Changes only affect the selected template
  • You can customize multiple templates independently

Tips

  • Test important templates before use
  • Keep a backup of any custom content
  • Remember to save your changes before navigating away
