Applying for jobs in OCW is flexible—candidates can apply with or without an account, upload résumés, and complete optional psychometric tests. Virtual interviews may be part of the process.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Review public job listings or follow a direct link to a job.
  2. To apply with an OCW account:
    • Create a free account and fill in your résumé details.
    • (Optional) Complete the psychometric test.
    • Find a job and click Apply.
    • (Optional) Add a cover letter and submit your application.
  3. To apply without an OCW account:
    • Click Apply on the job listing.
    • Enter your name, email, phone, and upload your résumé (PDF/DOCX preferred).
    • (Optional) Add a cover letter and submit your application.
  4. If invited to a virtual interview:
    • Check your email for an invitation and deadline.
    • Click the link in the email (or badge in your OCW account) to start the virtual interview.
    • Follow the instructions for the specific interviewer type (text, AI audio, or AI video).

Q: Do I need an OCW account to apply for jobs?
A: No, you can apply with or without an account. Having an account allows for one-click apply and easier management of applications.

Q: What file types are accepted for résumés?
A: PDF and DOCX files are supported, as they can be parsed and displayed in application cards.

Q: How do I know if I need to complete a virtual interview?
A: You will receive an email invitation with a deadline. If you applied via your OCW account, you will also see a badge on your application card.

Q: Can I choose the type of virtual interviewer?
A: No, the recruiter sets the interviewer type (text, AI audio, or AI video).

Q: What if the AI interviewer doesn’t start?
A: Wait 30–60 seconds, then try refreshing the page. If the AI asks how it can help, state you are there for a job interview and provide the job title.

Q: Are psychometric tests mandatory?
A: Only if required by the recruiter for that job. Otherwise, they are optional.

Q: Can I edit or withdraw my application after submitting?
A: You can manage your applications from your OCW account if you applied while logged in.
